[WSBAPT] Small Estate Affidavit by someone other than successor

[Ashley Raymond]

Decedent passed with minimal assets in the state. He left 6 adult kids. The
kids want their uncle to be in charge of handling the assets. Can the uncle
carry out the small estate affidavit, even though he is not technically a
successor-in-interest? This is assuming all the kids sign declarations
authorizing the uncle to claim the funds on their behalf.
