[WSBAPT] Notice Issues for Mexico Heirs

Could they sign and mail out a general waiver encompassing waiver of notice of appointment, notice re NPs, notice re closure of the estate, all other notices during pendency of probate? Or is the outgoing mail monitored also? And send the waivers to them by email for printing out or something similar, or perhaps to a local farmacia.

Greetings Listmates:

Here's one I haven't encountered before. Legal heirs (all of whom are disinherited by will anyway) live in Mexico. Prospective PR has spoken with them by telephone, and they've stated that they do not want any notice served, as the narcotraficos/cartels monitor the locals mail, and any sniff of a potential inheritance in the family can lead to a kidnapping.

Assume that the heirs don't even want to go to a local notary-equivalent for fear of the contents of a declaration/affidavit getting out. Any ideas on what you would do in this circumstance?
