[WSBAPT] Tricky $200,000 CD "Beneficiary" vs. Will = Supercedes & How Make Tightly Knit?

Members:

We've got a tricky situation... kinda.

Wife updates her CD every 6 mo. and names her son & daughter (from prior
marriage) + CURRENT HUSBAND in the "Beneficiary" section of the CD.

HOWEVER, there has been a time when she has FORGOTTEN to name the HUSBAND
on the CD (unsure if 'intentionally' or 'unintentionally'.. although she
claims 'unintentionally).

Now, it is both agreed by Husband & Wife that Wife's actual Will states
that Husband will be the beneficiary of the CD in-the-will.

Issues to Consider = joint bank account
"Intent" of Will
* Wife's 'possible' reneging of wish to add Husband as CD Beneficiary.

Basically, Per Wife & Husband, upon Wife's Death, the Husband SHOULD
RECEIVE A PORTION of the CD.

How would you "tightly knit" this estate on this specific matter?

Your input is well appreciated.
