[WSBAPT] Service of Notice of Appointment In Person

Greetings Listmates:

This is probably a no-brainer. RCW 11.28.237 requires “notice of [the
personal representative’s] appointment … to be served personally or by
mail….” Is there anything preventing the PR from simply handing this
notice to family members at a memorial and then declaring it was so done?

Thanks,

James W. Spencer, Esq.
