[WSBAPT] I Bond redemption

[Gerald Sprute]

Listmates:
 
Clients have I Bonds issued in SEPT 2013 and in JAN 2014, totaling
$40,000.  They are in assisted living and will run out of money very soon.
Does anyone know whether there is a hardship exception to the 12 month
redemption, other than affected by a natural disaster?  Has anyone
redeemed I Bonds early, or come up with another workaround?
