Subject: [WSBAPT] estate planning with canadian real estate

Hi Listmates:

I have H & W estate planning clients, both U.S. citizens, who own real
estate in Whistler, B.C. They want their whole estate plan to focus on
preserving the Whistler property for their heirs. I am wondering, if they
have just regular washington wills, how would their Canadian property be
transferred? Does a trust or LLC make more sense? Should I tell them to
get Canadian Wills also?

Also, for anyone who knows the answers to these questions, where should I
go to learn more about these cross-border issues?

thank you!
