Listmates

I have an Israeli client who is living here as a permanent resident (?
anyway living and working here legally). He and his wife (also Israeli)
have two young children. Their estate is both here and in Israel (a home
there). Afew complications arise:

On the second death, they want their children to be with a family
member in Israel. The question is, if their children are still under age,
will the court appoint a local guardian and, on return to Israel, a local
Israeli guardian (per their wills)

Assuming that their substantial US estate needs to be probated
here in Washington, they want the estate, on the second death to go into a
trust for their children to be administered by an Israeli citizen residing
in Israel. I am unsure that it be liquidated here and sent to Israel or
that it remain here. Assuming it remains here, what problems (besides
distance) might be encountered.

I assume that their Israeli home needs to be administered in
Israel (I am confirming this with an Israeli attorney with whom I
correspond).

This is complicated and I would like to know if any of you have run into
this type of situation and dealt with it or if a referral is in order.

Thanks in advance for any comments, suggestions or a referral.
