Right Amy. Sorry if that wasn't clear: a discrete part of the process is
clients receiving the first drafts and reviewing them preliminarily before
reviewing them with me. My question is about email as a method of getting
those documents to the clients. I won't rewrite my entire initial post.

I always, always, always forward to the client for review except for
trivial or procedural correspondence. But, for important correspondence,
settlement negotiations, etc. the client always sees it first and has an
opportunity to comment and ask questions. Same goes for most pleadings
and motions. They appreciate it as well-they need to be informed and feel
that they are making decisions with you.
