You’re not the only one - this happened to me a few years back, and we did the deed correctly, and titled it Correction Deed.  Then first paragraph as follow: 
This Deed is to correct the error in the legal description in that certain Quit Claim Deed recorded under X County Auditor file no. …….   The recording office handled it under their term “re-record”.
