Is it private pay or county-pay?  Where is the gentleman in King County?
I am on the registry and would be happy to serve if it is private pay and
the AIP is anywhere in the Seattle area southward (I am currently involved
in 2-3 public cases).  Please know that if you are asking the court for a
GAL with more experience/expertise, you will so need to inform the court.
Also, you should provide the court with at least three nominees as the
court will not appoint someone whom they believe is ‘hand-picked’ by the
petitioner.

Hi folks - I'm looking for recommendations for a GAL in a King County
case.  Not only should the person be on the GAL list, he or she should be
an attorney or a  sophisticated non-attorney.   The matter involves an
elderly gentleman with dementia.
