I decided to post a web link to the full text of the article I posted brief
information about yesterday.

Assuming Raymond Pierrehumbert is roughly correct (many other climate
scientists concur with his advocacy for dramatic rapid de-carbonization:

the consequences of failing to rapidly de-carbonize the global economy will
result in major consequences for centuries even thousands of years, unless
we assume heroic technological solutions to remove billions of tons of CO2
from the atmosphere, or other means of modifying Earth's climate that are
speculative and untested.
