Lewiston woman arrested twice for DUI in two hours

PULLMAN - A 20-year-old Lewiston woman was arrested twice in less than two hours for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol.

Washington State University police first arrested the woman for suspicion of DUI on the 800 block of Northeast C Street at 1:07 a.m. Friday. Once released from the WSU Police Department, she was arrested at 3:03 a.m. for the same offense.

Police said the woman told officers she was going to have a friend drive her home, although they later spotted her driving on the 500 block of Northeast Campus Street.

The woman was released again by WSU police after the second offense. As of Friday afternoon she had yet to be formally charged.
