Protest downtown tomorrow

On Sept. 1, anti-war supporters will hold a demonstration near the Herzog-Christoph monument at the Schlossplatz in downtown Stuttgart, 2:30–7 p.m., to protest for world peace and for disarmament world-wide. Approximately 800 demonstrators are expected to attend the peaceful demonstration. The demonstration was properly registered through local law enforcement and is expected to be peaceful.  

Due to the political views of the protest attendees, confrontations could occur. Members of the Stuttgart military community are advised to avoid the demonstration area.
