'Why Gay is not the New Black' post-event discussion relocated

A post-event discussion for Thursday night's "Why Gay is not the New Black" talk by Dr. Voddie Baucham will still be held at 10:30 a.m. today, but the event has been relocated to the second floor of the Bruce Pitman Center, outside of the Borah Theater.

The organizers of the discussion, the University of Idaho Collegiate Reformed Fellowship, had originally planned to hold the event at One World Cafe in Moscow.

Brandy Sullivan, the owner of One World Cafe, issued a statement to the Daily News regarding the relocation.

"The 'Why Gay is not the New Black' post-event discussion at One World Cafe on Friday has been canceled because it was scheduled and organized without knowledge of or consent from the owners and management of the business. One World Cafe has a meeting room that is free for use by all community members, however, public events must be approved by owners/management," she wrote.
