I know Rex Sheets. He is nor a hater. He is a vary quite unassuming kid. His parents are divorced.  In my opinion slavery was the main cause of the Civil War, but as  Rex pointed out there were other issues.

I'd like to know where the heck this kid's parents were during all this  L  The ignorant, flatly incorrect, and intolerant propaganda this kid spouts certainly isn't what he learned in public schools. 
 
And, as is not uncommon, there were more than a few things my dd wanted to do while in high school that we didn't allow because high school wasn't an appropriate venue.  While we weren't fascist dictators of parents, the bottom line was our house, our rules, and the chances we'd have allowed our daughter to paint a racist symbol on her car to drive around in public while living under our roof were a big fat zero.  The AOL parents certainly seem to me to be an example of why so many kids go down the wrong path during their adolescent and teen years.  It's very, very sad, IMHO, this kid's parents have so clearly dropped the ball  L

I can share your feelings about the rebel flag and still point out I find it offensive for you in your posting to refer to "Little Rex" two or three times. It's the kind of thing one of the candidates for president would do.
