While we weren't fascist dictators of parents, the bottom line was our house, our rules, and the chances we'd have allowed our daughter to paint a racist symbol on her car to drive around in public while living under our roof were a big fat zero. The AOL parents certainly seem to me to be an example of why so many kids go down the wrong path during their adolescent and teen years.
