Some unique offerings this month at The Center:
*YOU Can Create Your Own Job* on Sept. 19, 6pm.  This class is offered by
local entrepreneur Stu Scott, founder of the Camas Winery.  For those
attending the class on the 19th Stu will offer future sessions where he
will continue to share his expertise, answer questions and help develop
business plans.  Be sure to take advantage of this great opportunity!

*All Recovery Meeting*.  This unique support meeting is open to anyone
dealing with an addiction or mental health issue.  Meetings start Friday
9/9 at 5pm.

We have teamed with the Palouse Education Consortium to bring nationally
known expert Ann Weiser Cornell to The Center on Sept. 11 from 1-4pm.  She
will be speaking on *PRESENCE:  Transforming Your Most Challenging

CONGRATULATIONS TO DARRELL KEIM and TOM STROSCHEIN
Tom is receiving the Region 2 Champion of Recovery Award.
Darrell is receiving the first ever Idaho Champion of Recovery Award at the
annual Idaho Recovery Awareness Event at the state capital on 9/8.  These
awards are in recognition of their work with The Center.

We are excited to announce that an excellent 2-Day Motivational
Interviewing Clinical Training is coming to Coeur d'Alene this November 7-8.
Up to 12 total CEUs will be awarded including one ethics credit. The
training is held at the North Idaho College in the Driftwood Bay Room. This
event is open to all those working in the helping professions and focuses
on understanding and building skills in Motivational Interviewing. Seating
is limited, we encourage everyone to register early. For any questions,
