City of Moscow Adjusts Utility Billing Cycle

September 1, 2015 (Moscow, Idaho) - Beginning in October of 2015 the City of Moscow will adjust the monthly utility billing timeline to provide for more efficient and accurate accounting of utility bills for water, sewer, garbage and street light fees.  Previously, utility bills were sent the first of the month.  Starting in October, bills will be sent at the end of the first week of the month for service utilized in the previous month.  Due dates for payment of bills will shift from the 15th of the month to the 20th.

This adjustment in the utility billing timeline will allow City staff to better prepare compile the previous months utility billing activity in order to provide more accurate information to citizens on their utility billing activity.
