Thanks for the great lyrics, but not so fast, Tom.  In the Gnostic Gospel
of Mary Jesus and Mary Magdalene were kissing each other on the lips, and
there are stories (just that of course) about him and Mary Mag. having a
daughter or a son, depending on the source.

At my regional religious studies meeting several years ago there was a
presentation on some "bone" boxes discovered under a parking lot in Israel.
One of them had the inscription "son of Jesus."  The Israeli government
shut the dig down under mysterious circumstances.  Some theories point to
evangelical Christian pressure.  I'm collecting info for a column on
Christian Zionism, which is more extreme than some forms of Jewish Zionism.
