Free Let’s Move! Childcare Workshop Registration Open

October 24, 2014 (Moscow, Idaho) — The Let’s Move! Childcare Workshop previously scheduled for October 18 and November 8 have been rescheduled for November 8 and December 13.  Registration is open for the two-day workshop through October 29.  At the Let’s Move! Child Care Workshop, providers will learn about how to incorporate healthy nutrition and physical activity into child care programs. Providers must commit to attend both workshop days.

Attendees of the workshop will be eligible for fourteen hours of Idaho Stars training hours and hours may also be applied to City of Moscow licensing requirements.  Participants will receive information enabling them to guide families and children in their care towards better health through healthy nutrition, increased physical activity and limited screen time, as well as “Color Me Healthy” and “5-2-1-0 Goes to Child Care” toolkits.  Registration includes lunch, snacks and attendees will be entered into a drawing for giveaways.
