[Vision2020] Null and void . . .

Interesting fact:  I sent this email at 8:55 AM this morning, and I finally received it on the list at 3:39 PM.  I wonder if Yahoo is having problems, or if it's FSR.

Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but my take on it is that it shouldn't be an issue as long as they are going through the correct process.  I don't want to live in a world where people attempt to stop certain shipments from using public roads for political reasons.  The roads should be free (free as in speech, not necessarily free as in beer).  Law abiding citizens should be able to use the roads whenever they wish, regardless of whether or not they are hauling equipment to a project that you don't agree with.

If the permit process is lacking, then that's an excellent discussion for whatever committee overseas public transportation in Idaho.  It's just one that I'm not particularly interested in.

Just my two
 cents.

Paul

. . . pretty much describes the public commentary of this evening's city council session.

Apparently, there is an absence of concern among the people of Moscow related to the megaloads.

An excellent opportunity to address the Moscow City Council . . . especially following the January 15th megaload workshop in which the mayor refused to allow public Q&A on the record.

How can these people who make demands to keep these dangerous, environmentally threatening megaloads off of Idaho highways be taken seriously when they won't step up to the podium when such an opportunity presents itself.

This cuts deep!
