[Vision2020] Henry V and courage

Doug is fighting a losing battle.  He's only going have influence over either weak people who can't think for themselves and need approval from an authority figure and others in his flock who were brainwashed from young ages to become Stepford husbands and wives.  A few of his sheep/lemmings might 'wake up' (some have in the past) and see Doug in his true light of feeding his own insatiable controlling personality and coveting the Almighty dollar.

How much damage can he cause?  Doug's a prolific blowhard, but we're seeing on a daily basis the spectacular annihilation of unconstitutionally restrictive laws put in place by the 'It's God's Will' masses.  Individual rights are scoring major victory upon victory over the attempted tyrannical rule by the mob.

In terms of constitutional rights, Doug has the right to be the rogue pastor that he is and as long he's not breaking secular law, he won't face prosecution.

The best defense against Doug is to just continue doing what you're all doing.  Shine a light on him and like the cockroach that he is, he'll scurry back under his rock until he thinks it's safe to come out again.

Thanks, Deb.  Sadly, too few of us get what is going on.  And yet, in absolute fairness Doug has made no secret of his plans, it’s just most folks either didn’t bother to look into his schemes or think he is kidding.  He isn’t.  We are the “other,” outside the Covenant (again, Doug has made this plain) and consequently fair game.  Curiously, we are Goliath and his henchmen pretend they are David.  I have always wondered how he collects and keeps men who park their consciences’ at the door of the Logos Gym or Anselm house and just plain enjoy his perspective because men rule and women obey, cook, clean, and deliver eleventy-twelve babies on a regular basis. . .  Cult hardly begins to describe it. And yet, one day, possibly sooner than Doug fears,  it is my  hope that a small but committed cadre of decent men and women immune and unafraid of his collection of congregational secrets, will come to their senses, invite Doug (and his relatives) to relinquish the cathedra and step aside or find his plump old keister sitting on the curb of Washington Street with piles of videos and self-published books in the gutter beside him.  I like to imagine  the scene as an amended version of Henry V’s St. Crispin’s Day Speech (apologies to the Bard)  – who knows, perhaps the coup is set for October 25.“They that shall live this day, and see old age,

But, this is all old hat stuff from me and doesn’t surprise any of you.  Surprise!!!!
