King also has an essay titled, “Guns,” which came out last year. It’s good reading, as well.

What about bummer cars and roller coasters? Don't people have the right to bare arms while going on rides. I mean, come on, lots of crimes take place at theme parks, right?

On the subject of crimes in theme parks, it is easy to recommend a novel titled Joyland, by Stephen King, published last June. Considering the length of many of King's books, this one is a short summer-time entertainment that was a quick and enjoyable read.
Since that publication, King has released Doctor Sleep, and King's son, who publishes under the name Joe Hill, has released NOS4A2. These books have relations and interconnections between them, which, analogously to King's references to earlier books, add interest to reading both of them.
