[Vision2020] confirmation requests

I'm getting the same emails too and know that they're not bogus because I'm not
receiving viz emails hence having to copy / paste this one from the archives. My
yahoo email has long since stopped working on the viz which is why I switched to
a viz only hotmail (now outlook) account. Seems like some type of conspiracy although
I wonder why Gary's account wasn't also disabled.

Paul,

The problem in fact does appear to be something with Yahoo. The list tries to deliver mail to your yahoo email address and the Yahoo servers bounce the email back to the list. Below is the comment from our system admin...

His email address is godshatter at yahoo.com, and occasionally yahoo rejects mail delivery attempts to him with the error message "Service unavailable." The rejection error message they give us is a permanent one instead of a "try back later."

Anyone else getting confirmation requests from moscow.com when they post to the Viz? I've gotten them twice now. Here is some of what they say:

"Your membership in the mailing list Vision2020 has been disabled due to excessive bounces The last bounce received from you was dated 29-Apr-2014. You will not get any more messages from this list until you re-enable your membership. You will receive 3 more reminders like this before your membership in the list is deleted."

They then give you a link you can click on where you can re-enable your membership.

I've been at the same email address for at least a decade. I pop my mail to my desktop machine so it shouldn't be any kind of quota issue.
Maybe the changes Yahoo has been making lately?

Paul
