Recently Ralph Nielsen let V peeps know about an upcoming event on the U of
I campus. "UI prof to lecture on influenza epidemic. But not in a classroom
but in the 1,000-seat ballroom of the U of I Student Union Building!'"   Dr.
Minnich (the speaker) is associated with the (un)Intelligent Design movement
which is roundly applauded and strongly supported by faculty, staff, and
students of New Saint Andrews College.  A counter to this profoundly
ignorant approach to evidence based science is the new PBS special, Your
