I was in my room at the 51st Veterinary Hospital in Lingeses Germany. Some people came back from a move, where the assassination was announced. We spent all the next day an the parade field at Parade Rest.

I was in the bookstore at noon at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma when the news came over the radio that was playing background music. The military instructor tried to continue with the class at one, but was so shaken he dismissed the class after a few minutes.

. . . on November 22, 1963?

I was in the 7th grade at Robert Fulton Junior High School in Van Nuys, California.

The news of Kennedy's assassination was received at about 11:00 AM.  Some of the teachers were visibly shaken by the news.  The school closed down for the day at noon.

Do you remember where you were when . . .
