[Vision2020] Things that make you say, "WHAT?"

I simply don't jump to conclusions based on an article headlined with the word 'secret' included in it. You do because you're easily baited, you think the worst of politicians who have views different from you, and when revealed that there is 'much ado about nothing' you claim it to be conspiracy and coverup.
So far you're 2 for 2 today with the story on adding a 3rd district judge and with this article. Keep going. You're on a roll. It's quite entertaining.

It's the secrecy thing, Mr. Dredge. Or don't you comprehend THAT?
'Nuff said!

Why is any of this so hard to comprehend? The article breaks down into
two key points which are the results of the investigation and why the
minutiae can't be disclosed.
1) “The key finding was: We violated no law, that lapses of judgment were
made around the procurement policy and conflict-of-interest policy,”
2)
the public will never be able to see Mack’s recommendations
or findings. “It deals with personnel, and it’s done under
attorney-client privilege,”
If this still makes you say 'WHAT?',
then my guess is that you don't believe in the rule of law which is just
too darn bad because that's our system of governance.

And, Mr. Falen, although I didn't come right out and say it . . .
We are in agreement.
Our elected officials should be entirely open to the people of Idaho.

I don't know why you are being so snarky? I was basically agreeing with you. Governments have a tendency to keep too many secrets. These things should be public knowledge. The purpose of A Freedom of Information Request is to compel them to do what they should. Anyone can, not everyone needs too. The problem is that if they do not wish to honor your request, then you have to go to the District Court to compel them too release the information. This costs money, which makes to harder do. Therefore said government agency can get away with denying the request. The forms can be picked up at the County Clerks office. If you do not know where to file it, ask her or the Secretary of State.

Are you suggesting, Mr. Falen, that if the people of Idaho want to know about decisions made by elected officials, they (each of them) should submit a public records request to Boise.
Then, after a couple months of "dancing" with the office to which the request was sent, maybe . . . just maybe . . . the person who submitted the request . . . might . . . just might . . . know to whom they should resubmit their request.

File a Freedom of Information request. There is no reason this should not be public information.
