<he died from multiple gunshot wounds, believed to be from a semiautomatic handgun>
Tom - any reason why you didn't ask 'how many more' considering this shooting is 'believed to be from a semiautomatic' and the shooting occurred within the Moscow city limits? I'm mainly looking for consistency in your mantra for firearms bans.

Moscow shooting leaves one dead
One person is confirmed dead from a shooting today in Moscow's Bel Air Mobile Park.
Moscow Police and Latah County deputies responded to a report of shots fired just before 1 p.m. at a trailer on the 1700 block of North Polk Extension on the north side of the city.
When law enforcement arrived a woman came out and said that both the shooter and the victim were inside the trailer, said Moscow Police Chief David Duke. The man believed to be the shooter surrendered without incident.
The victim was brought out on stretcher shortly after. Duke said he died from multiple gunshot wounds, believed to be from a semiautomatic handgun, despite efforts by emergency medical teams to resuscitate.
No arrests have yet been made, though police have detained the man suspected of doing the shooting.
Duke said police are not ready to release any names, but did confirm that the three main people involved -- the alleged shooter, the victim and the woman who owned the trailer -- all knew each other.
The victim is believed to have been staying at the trailer recently, though only the woman's name is on the lease.
“Currently we're interviewing everyone involved, trying to figure out the timeline for what happened and collecting evidence,” Duke said. “After we're done with that we'll know more.”
