I support most of the activities of the WPNPS, but they are wrong on Hwy95. Terry Huhta said it best is a  Dnew Letter to the Editor a couple of weeks ago." Paradise Ridge is already compromised. At night it is lit up like a French Whore House." If the people that lived there were sincere about preserving the area the would turn their places over a conservation group and move off the ridge. The proposed road would for the most part go through fields that have already been ploughed(mostly Bod Clyde's place). Follow the recommendations of IDT and get the thing built.

This important message regarding endangered native plants was sent earlier, but contained a pdf attachment that could not be opened by all recipients--so it's being re-sent. The deadline for comments to Idaho Transportation Dept is Monday March 25.

The attachment says, in part, "The [U.S. Fish and Wildlife]Service has determined that implementing the E-2 alternative would result in the greatest impact to Palouse prairie habitat, including wildlife, sensitive plants, and high value wetlands, therefore the remaining two action alternatives (evaluated in the DEIS)would have lesser impacts to resources of concern to the Service."
