[Vision2020] Martin was 17. 17. He was a kid and Zimmerman, man enough to police the neighborhood, shot an unarmed kid in an effort to what -- save himself? -YES!!!

I appreciate your humor, Gary, but there is no evidence that guns save lives, generally speaking. If you look at the data it might have some positive impact in high crime districts but in low crime areas it is more likely to do you harm than good. Even in the Zimmerman case there is NO evidence the gun saves his life but it is a fact that it ended the life of an unarmed 17-year-old. In the other case, the guy was struck from behind, as Paul noted.
