Yep, that makes sense. If a kid in a poverty situation doesn't do well in school (because he/she is already in a situation which makes it difficult to excell), by all means cut any support which could level the playing field for the child---like a roof over the head, food in the belly, and a parent in the home. Does this guy have $$$ invested in the prison system? If people can't get minimum needs met, especially young people, they turn to crime to solve the starvation issue.
"Book that 12 year old, Dano. He stole food because his mom got cut from services, and he was trying to feed his three sisters while his $100000 a year dad refused child support".
What the hell is wrong with people? Oh, never mind. We know they are just no damn good when they get past $70,000 a year. Cut their taxes, and hope to Ghod they hire one single more person so they can believe in their own delusions.
