There was a time, not so many moons ago, when the age for legal
consumption of alcoholic beverages was lower in Idaho than it was in
Washington. Moscow entrepreneurs welcomed Pullman residents for suds and
snacks and life was good.
Now the situation is reversed, and Washington has a legal consumable
that Idaho does not. Pullman entrepreneurs may well welcome Moscow
residents for for snacks and more and life may well be at least as
good. Life may be better than it was because evidence suggests that
fewer auto accidents result from cannabis use than result from ethanol
consumption.
KTVB's search for viewer ratings increases probably motivates their
current cross-border brownie baking concerns.
