[Vision2020] OJ Trial vs GZ Trial

OJ's dream team was able to establish 'reasonable doubt'.
Zimmerman's plain old vanilla defense team was able to establish 'no doubt'.

OJ's victims were both repeatedly stabbed in an offensive blitz.
Zimmerman's victim was killed by a single shot at extremely close range in an obvious act of self defense for anyone who takes the time to look at all of the indisputable evidence & the corroborating witness testimony and complete lack of any scintilla of evidence that it was anything other than self defense.

OJ's defense team charged racism with the police departments and was able to prove that one of the detectives was a racist liar which then made him a darling of conservatives.
Zimmerman's prosecutors attacked their own police witnesses for not arresting him because they believed Zimmerman's story to be consistent and credible.

OJ's defense strategy was to play the race card.  Robert Shapiro stated, 'not only did we play the race card, we dealt it from the bottom of the deck.'
Zimmerman's prosecution was spearheaded due to public outrage of racism.

In general, whites believe OJ to be guilty and African Americans believe him to be not guilty.
In general, whites believe Zimmerman to be not guilty and African Americans believe him to be guilty.

One key difference in the OJ case was that one of the victims, Ron Goldman, was Jewish.  Thus, antisemitism could also be thrown into the mix as a reason for acquittal of his murder.
