Simple, Mr. Dredge.

I gauge a congressman's worth on what (s)he has done to benefit "We, the people".

My vote goes to that candidate that best represents what I believe benefits "We, the people" . . .

- Decriminalization of marijuana laws (Legalize. Regulate. Tax.),

- Gun control regarding assault weapons and large capacity ammo magazines, and

- Immigration laws allowing a path to citizenship for current undocumented workers,

. . . To name just a few.

FYI. This is only the second time I've posted Boehner's (extremely appropriate) quote.

Temper, temper, Mr. Dredge.

Obviously you're not one of the 'scant few' because your response was to post the Boehner sound bite for the UMPTEENTH TIME beause you simply can't look past because you've been HYPNOTIZED by it.

Should Congress be passing more laws giving people more opportunity to break such laws and subsequently NOT BE INCARCERATED for breaking them OR should Congress be repealing laws so that cutesy mixed race dysfunctional people who are unable to follow simple basic rules of civil order can be left alone in their abject poverty incapable of accessing available resources that might possibly better the living conditions for themselves and their kids?

IF 'NOT', THEN PLEASE EXPLAIN IN YOUR OWN WORDS 'WHY NOT' ESPECIALLY IN LIGHT THAT YOU'VE EXPRESSED THAT YOU WANT THINGS DECRIMINALIZED WHICH IS TANTAMOUNT TO 'REPEALING LAWS' THAT JOHN BOEHNER PROFESSES THAT CONGRESS SHOULD BE JUDGED ON.

For the scant few of you on the viz who have attention spans greater than what can be provided by the visual image of a snarky cartoon or the hypnotic sounds bites of 'racial injustice', 'voter suppression', 'the sky is falling', etc., here's a rundown on Congressional activity going into the 2013 August recess.
