[Vision2020] Question, V-Peeps . . .

It's a non-issue. It's tantamount to claiming Obama is ineligible to be president because many believe he was born in Kenya. If this Tim Brown character is not eligible to be sitting on the council, then someone who cares about this should follow the processes in place to remove / replace him. That'd just be far too logical and it won't happen so this flap is much ado about nothing.

First, this is a bad argument. By this reasoning, even if Brown lived in NYC it would be OK. As long as he was "manly," or whatever. That is absurd.
Second, you are missing the point. Personally I don't care too much where Brown lives. But just because it isn't an issue for me, or you, or Matt doesn't mean it isn't an issue. If enough people care, it is an issue. That's how politics works. The existence of this thread suggests that it is an issue.

Actually, in keeping with your flawed analogy, it
was much more like saying that there are those who have been using the men's

it down all their life. Sorry if my initial post was overly
subtle.

This is like saying if someone was male for most of his life and then
becomes a women, she should still be able to use the men's room.

Tim has been a respected and productive member of the community since
decades prior to 1992. Where he's living at this particular moment has little
bearing on his effectiveness as a council member. You might even consider him
  for a potential role model.

It does matter,
