City of Moscow to Host 2012 Commissions Fair

November 13, 2012 (Moscow, Idaho) - The City of Moscow will host its annual Commissions Fair on November 15, 2012, at 7 p.m. at City Hall in Council Chambers, 206 E Third Street.  This event is free and open to the public and showcases the City's commissions and gives members of the public an opportunity to learn about each commission and decide if volunteering is right for them.

Booths will be set up at City Hall for citizens to visit with commission members about their involvement with their respective commissions.  The fair will also include the presentation of the annual Service to Commission Awards given by Mayor Nancy Chaney to three outstanding commission volunteers.

The City's commissions include Arts, Fair and Affordable Housing, Sustainable Environment, Historic Preservation, Human Rights, Parks and Recreation, Paradise Path Task Force, Planning and Zoning, Transportation, and Tree.  Other groups represented include the Board of Adjustment, Paradise Path Task Force, and Safe Routes to School.
