That sounds like a great idea! My suggestions would be to visit some of the nursing homes in the area. Many of the men have fought in WWII, Korean War, and some in Vietnam, and have old photos with stories to go with them. I would also suggest you visit the ROTC office, or the Resident Hall Office at UI and get the photos of the students that graduated from UI. One other place I can think of is the Military Recruiting Stations have pictures of all the high school students that were recruited.

If'n anybody is interested in participating, maybe . . .

We could accumulate and consolidate photos of veterans (recent or long past) with links to Moscow (either as a current resident, past resident, or related to a current resident or past resident).  It could be our own tribute.  I will even volunteer a website for such a collection.
