Roger may be onto something here that does require some research. The
Germans have raised many questions over the years, and not all of them
have been answered. Concerning plate theory, for example, there are many
questions concerning optimal plate contents and the best methods for
moving them around.

Here is a list of potential research topics, which undoubtedly would be
well-supplemented by appropriate liquid flows under optimal temperature
conditions.

Perhaps with the arrival of closer-to-optimal temperatures, say October,
some serious research projects might commence to gather further data.

Suggestions for optimal combinations of plate contents and flowing
liquids are welcome.
