[Vision2020] Flagship Universities

Obviously, Mr. Hansen is unaware that many Idaho political leaders have been working tirelessly to undermine funding and support for Idaho's academic institutions. Idaho ranked 49th in support for education last year. It's goal is to be 50th. I think they are well on their way. As Senator Santorum said that we must not let all students afford college and get brainwashed by liberal professors. In college they might do something radical like become an educated voter. And what kind of future would the Idaho Republican Party have if Idahoans were all college educated?

In addition to ranking the University of Idaho at third on their success in enrolling low-income students, it also relates that Idaho is now the ONLY state in the union without a flagship, thanks to the Idaho state legislature.

Remind me again how that benefits ANYONE in Idaho!
