There is a map on the City website that shows the hours for parking in areas of downtown http://www.ci.moscow.id.us/index.aspx. If you need a clearer copy of the overnight areas, look at the second page of this document: http://www.ci.moscow.id.us/storage/public_records/resolutions/all_res/Res_2009-16.pdf

Where are these places, Dan? How do you move your car to one if you cannot drive? And they will tow your car if you leave it, and you ain't getting it back for no $20.

There are places downtown where one can park their car overnight without fear of getting ticketed.
I, for one, would much rather pay the 15-20 bucks for a parking ticket if I’ve overindulged – and call it the price of being smart – rather than pay the couple thousand dollars a DUI would cost me if I was trying to avoid the parking ticket.
I could go on, but I won’t.

One question concerning overnight parking on Main Street that has been discussed here on the Viz that should be brought before the PWF Committee . . .
What options are there for somebody, parked on Main Street, who (late in the evening) decides they have had too much to drink . . . and drive? Would they be legally permitted to leave their vehicle parked on Main Street overnight?
Seeya later, Moscow.
