Well, Mr. Hansen, if the hot air produced by US politics caused global warming we would all be cinders by now.

I, personally, attribute the hot temperatures of these past few months to the hot air generated by the Republican presidential primaries, which also contributed significantly to the "air pollution problem" suggested by Mr. Falen.

It was stated by some that the himalayan ice was  disappearing. Then later a report said that is was growing. The same was said about Greenland. So I do not know who is right. By visual observations it is apparent that ther is an air pollution problem. So do what can be done to ameliorate that within the constraints of what is economically viable.
