On the other side of the time argument, 1895 to 2012 is a very short period of time for continental shift in temperature of 3.3 degrees. For millions of years it's taken thousands of years to do.

1895 is only a short time as far as the earth is concerned. I am not taking sides one way or the other as far as man caused global warming is concerned. There are a lot of conflicting reports. It was stated by some that the himalayan ice was disappearing. Then later a report said that is was growing. The same was said about Greenland. So I do not know who is right. By visual observations it is apparent that ther is an air pollution problem. So do what can be done to ameliorate that within the constraints of what is economically viable.
