[Vision2020] Boy Scout files reveal repeat abuse, report says

Agreeing with Joe [and more]:

I followed several trails of pedophiles while living in Boundary County.
The real recidivism rate is extraordinarily high and is estimated by many
diverse experts to exceed 90%; the younger and more numerous the victims,
the higher the probability of repeat offenses (notice the plural). That is
the reasons pedophiles receive long prison sentences -- to protect children.

Another trait of serial pedophiles like Steven Sitler: They are very
clever at hiding their activities by various and nefarious means. They can
get away with their filthy, injurious perversion for years, for example,
even hiding their activities with their own children from their wives for
years. It is only when they are accidentally caught in the act that the
ugly truth comes out.

I agree with Scott that once convicted, pedophiles ought be punished to the
full extent of the secular law if for no reason than to protect potential
victims, their loved ones, and friends.

I disagree with Scott's assessment of Wilson. First of all, Wilson is not
an expert on pedophilia; not even close. Even experts are unable to agree
on whether a particular offender will never offend again (even if they are
nullified).

Second, Wilson passes himself off as an expert on many topics. His adoring,
ovine marks believe him, but a simple perusal of his utterances usually
betray egregious ignorance.

Thirdly, It is doubtful that Wilson himself believes that Sitler is
"cured." Wilson is an extremely, not hestitant skillful liar. See:
http://federal-vision.blogspot.com/2008/08/leading-charge.html

"And the moral of this story is that it doesn’t matter if Wilson writes it
or says it — *he doesn’t mean a word of it.* It’s all an act."

The author of this blog, known personally to many of us was once one of
Wilson's closest associates and probably new him better at that time than
any other male in the Christ Church Cult. The author discovered many of
Wilson's lies and deceptions and after confronting Wilson, exited the cult
and the living he made from it.

Anyone who has followed Wilson over the years can cite many instances of
his basic dishonesty. He also is a unrelenting exponent of "covenantal
dishonesty" -- the doctrine that says it is not only OK to be dishonest and
deceitful, but there is a duty to be so when it serves the ends and
purposes of his alleged God. You can bet that if Steven Sitler has or
will re-offend, it will not be reported to law enforcement unless there is
no way to avoid it.

Wilson is on record in the *Daily News* as saying that he never changes his
mind. In other words he is always right. The alleged deity he allegedly
worships is the only other being with that Wilson apparently believes
shares that property. Wilson cannot let it appear that he does not have
the power to "cure" serial pedophiles else he loses his equivalence with
his alleged God, and with it the ability to keep his cash machine and
sexist, homophobic, racist, theocratic empire from crumbling.

Three other public figures deserve condemnation in this matter: Prosecutor
William Thompson, Sheriff Wayne Rausch, and District Judge John Stegner,
all of whom were taken in by the most unholy Wilson.

Sitler was not arrested for six months after his reported offense; he fled
and lived with his parents in Washington during that time (see the letter
previously posted with this thread). The plea bargain was about as sweet
as could possibly be absolving Sitler from punishment for all his previous
crimes in Idaho and Washington. No magistrates hearing to compel testimony
under oath from reluctant cult members was held despite pleas by
investigators alleging a coverup and lying. Sitler did six months soft
time after being sentenced to life in prison, and violated probation by
masturbating while looking into a family's apartment among other things, a
violation that ought to have resulted in the revocation of his probation.

Besides the perils of leaving the public at the mercy of a clever serial
pedophile, this case illustrates the importance of keeping church and state
matters separate in the courts.

It also reminds us of the local saying about the dishonest, manipulative,
quasi-charismatic Cultmaster Douglas Wilson: "When dealing with Wilson,
use one hand to protect your purse, the other to protect your or your loved
one's genitals."

Larry Germer has learned to the tune of over half a million dollars of the
truth of the first conjunct in the sentence above.
