PRESS RELEASE
Title: Active in April

April 05, 2012 - Join us for the Active in [cid:image006.jpg at 01CD1344.BA6EF470] April exhibit at the Third Street Gallery. The show runs through April 24th, then will move to Gritman Medical Center where it will be exhibited from April 24th through June 8th.

The gallery reception is
Thursday, April 12, 2012 from 5pm - 7pm featuring a presentation by Safe Routes to Schools at 5pm. Safe Routes to Schools is a national program meant to encourage students to walk and bike to school.

The exhibit showcases works created by students K - 8th grade all about active travel...what they see on their walk to school, why they like actively traveling to school and why we should walk/bike/scoot to school. The exhibit also features some of the events that Safe Routes has created throughout the last few years with the intention of encouraging kids to walk, bike, roll or bus to school.
