[Vision2020] Winter Solstice 2011 - Call for Artists

The Moscow Arts Commission is pleased to announce the 10th Annual Winter Solstice Exhibition

Call for Artists!

Original work in all mediums is welcome.
Accepted wall pieces must be framed with a wire hanger. Work may be for sale with a 20% commission and 6% sales tax taken into consideration. If you took part in a previous exhibit, please do not submit the same work. Artists from out-of-town are responsible for delivering and picking up their own work. Please ensure that all works submitted for consideration are in good condition and will withstand ordinary strains of packing and transportation. Please limit submission to 3 pieces maximum.

Calendar:

November 30                                    DEADLINE for submitting applications

December 2                                       Notification of selection

December 5-6                                   Deliver work to Third Street Gallery for installation

December 8                                       Exhibit begins

December 9                                       Exhibit Coffee Reception and Artists Talks (9am - 10am)

January 20                                           Exhibit ends

January 24-25                                    Pick-up work


There is no theme this year...just anything that is wintery, solsticy, or that reflects the time of year.
