The following item has been REMOVED from the Administrative Committee agenda and is rescheduled for July 25th.

1912 Center - Five-Year Renewal Agreement with Heart of the Arts, Inc. and the City of Moscow - Dwight Curtis/Jenny Sheneman

The existing five-year agreement for lease, programs and operations management of the 1912 Center expires September 30, 2011. Heart of the Arts, Inc. (HAI) is requesting another 5-year agreement to be effective October 1, 2011. Under HAI, the 1912 Center has enjoyed extensive progress in development of the facility, to include completion of the Fiske Room and Arts Workshop, other smaller first floor interior rooms/halls, exterior building work on the north and west ends, and the Northeast parking lot/retaining wall and sidewalk/railing. Further development is already scheduled for the west/northwest parking lot. Enlisting HAI for the management and operations as well as fund raising and development of the facility has been very successful. A price comparisons matrix between the 1912 Center and local 'private' and City room rental spaces was previously requested and will be handed out for discussion at the meeting.

ACTION: Recommend approval of the proposed agreement or take such other action deemed appropriate.
