The Kenworthy Theater will host a farewell reception at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday at the theater in honor of Bob Greene who is retiring after
30 years of running and owning BookPeople of Moscow.

Saturday has been proclaimed "Bob Greene Day" by the City of Moscow,
and the community gathering will be held at the Kenworthy for his
friends and patrons to thank Greene for his many years supporting
Moscow and the Palouse. The reception will include wine from the Wine
Company of Moscow, a presentation, and a few comments on his impact on
the community.

The reception will be followed by a showing of Greene's selection of
"Another Year," in which British filmmaker Mike Leigh delivers another
emotionally honest comedy drama of ordinary people trying to make
sense of their lives. Greene has asked that all proceeds from the
night be donated to the Kenworthy Performing Arts Center in support of
"a fellow cornerstone of Moscow cultural life."

Tickets are $6 at the door.
