Isn't that a question for the individual? Or perhaps it's a decision that should be made for them them by folks who imagine that they know better. 

I'm having a difficult time grasping your point. These people you are railing against already pay the lion share of all the taxes, is your ire up because they don't pay them all?

Who got kicked in the choppers when it came to the Chrysler/GM bailout? It sure as hell wasn't the UAW. Secured creditors and people caught holding the "old GM" stock payed through the nose for the current administration to say thank you to that voting block.

The fact that the pension plans were under funded and poorly managed from the get go is the fault of the inovative, industrious, and prosperous how, exactly? Perhaps if the plans had been placed in the hands of those you castigate they would not be in the sorry shape that they are in.
