[Vision2020] Good morning campers - It's installment #19 - Encouragement

Here is just one of your recent posts:

"After years of deficit financing for state and local government (dems
and repubs), it is time to begin to pay for the music.

"Here is a teaser intro to get folks to focus on the problems we are now
facing. Before you gnash your teeth and wring your hands in despair, be
sure to link to the full article - then let the gnashing begin.

"We, as a nation and a republic of states are in serious fiscal
condition. Our present situation is NOT SUSTAINABLE. Each U.S. citizen
is going to sacrifice - over the next several decades."

ETC.

Sorry but this does not sound like encouragement. It just flat-out is
not encouragement. It is just more of the same old politics of fear
that the Republicans have been throwing out since at least the Reagan
Administration, all ending with the same old message: cut taxes.
"We're in trouble, Martha, and we've got to cut taxes to get out of
it!!!" Not encouragement by any means.

Whatever the above is attempting to do it is NOT raising "confidence
to the point where one dares to do what is difficult." It is appealing
to the emotion of FEAR and trying to get folks to act without
thinking. Apparently so that you can save a few bucks.

Please follow your own advice or stop giving it. This is just common
sense. It's really pretty easy!
