[Vision2020] First Amendment?

I hope that an 1983 tort claim is filed and McGovern wins big time.  This incident ought stir the anger and vigilance of all who believe that free expression is one of the most important human rights and an indispensible tool for working toward the truth.  This is not a partisan issue, but one for those that believe that the 1st Amendment guarantees ought be protected and defended very rigorously.

It is sad that the government is becoming so fearful of free expression.  One can expect it of some religious groups as free expression is a major threat to their existence as has been shown in western Europe, but the government ought realize that in the long run free expression is a major, major benefit to those it governs.

  While Hillary Clinton condemned the use of force and spoke of human rights abroad, Ray McGovern protested US policies by standing quietly with his back turned to her...and was grabbed by police and dragged away and arrested.

  And Clinton just kept going on, didn't point out that McGovern's rights were being violated.

  Looks to me like state action against free speech, and a violation of McGovern's right to free speech.
